Bukhu
Bukhu, born Bukhchuluun Ganburged in Ulaanbaatar, is a Mongolian musician who has lived in Sydney since 2009. He plays the morin khuur horse head fiddle and sings khuumii throat singing, and he trained at the Music and Dance Conservatory of Ulaanbaatar. His album The Journey was nominated for the ARIA Award for Best World Music Album in 2021. He also plays in the duo Horse and Wood with oud player John Robinson and in a duo with Sydney multi-instrumentalist Nosh Mistry.
