Delays Have Dangerous Ends
Delays Have Dangerous Ends is a Sydney duo of guitarist Matthew Syres and keyboardist Genevieve Von Black, formed in autumn 2022. They improvise long ambient science fiction pieces with guitar, keyboards and effects, and most of their tracks run between 10 and 17 minutes. Their latest release, Seven Nights Nine Times Nine, came out in October 2025 and they launched it at Lazybones Lounge in Marrickville that December. On a 2024 tour they played MONA and the Essence Festival of Extreme and Diverse Music.
