Erik Weideman
Erik Weideman sings and plays guitar and keyboards in 1927, the band he still leads. The band's 1988 debut album ...ish went to number one in Australia, 1927 won two ARIA Awards in 1989, and Weideman reformed the group with a new line-up in 2009. Its most recent release is the 2019 EP Paper Aeroplane. His 2026 solo shows mix 1927 songs with unreleased material, including The Bridge Hotel on 16 October.
