Manfredo Lament
Manfredo Lament is a Sydney improvising group led by Kurt Lam on keys and synths and Gabriel Haslam on drums, with a different set of guest players at each show. The project started in October 2021 as a café residency near Oxford Street, and every set is made up on the spot from jazz and synth sounds. Their most recent release is the 2025 single Brother Beautiful / Eyes!, and they recorded a live album at The Eveleigh Hotel in April 2026. The group was nominated for Best Live Act at the 2024 FBi SMAC Awards.
