Truffle Boils

Jazz & Blues

Truffle Boils is a jazz quartet of Peter Farrar on saxophone, Tom Avgenicos on trumpet, Samuel Dobson on bass and Jodie Michael on drums. They play their own tunes alongside lesser-known pieces by Monk, Mingus and Ellington, with plenty of room for improvisation. In April 2026 they played the Jazz Upstairs series at St Stephen's Uniting Church on Macquarie Street in Sydney.
