Wombats Crossing
Wombats Crossing is a chamber folk trio of Christine Wheeler on flutes, whistles, recorders and guitar, Rebecca Daniel on violin and recorders, and Leigh Birkett on guitar, bouzouki and mandolin. All three sing, and they play traditional tunes alongside newer material. They recorded an album of Henry Lawson poems set to music by Wheeler. Birkett has played with Martin Doherty for more than twenty years.
