A real jazz room. Jazz, blues, funk, soul, R&B, folk, Latin, acoustic and DJ nights. Mostly Sydney locals with the odd touring blues or jazz act. Most residency nights are free; one-off touring shows carry a door charge.
Basement room. Venue PA - 16-channel Nexo with up to three monitor sends - and an in-house engineer. Full backline: Gretsch kit, bass amp, Roland Bolt60 and JC60 guitar amps. Keys: Bechstein baby grand in the bar, Wurlitzer, Nord Electro 5D, Akai MPC Key61, Kurzweil SP2X. Serato controller, projection and 16-track multitrack recording. Weekly: Mon industry night, Tue emerging artists 7 to 10pm free, Wed open jam 8 to 11pm free, Thu jazz from 8pm free, Funky Friday 8pm to 2am free, South American Sunday 5.30 to 11pm free.
